Bokashi Mix Making workshop
“The bokashi workshop is excellent value and great fun to boot! The fun part is when you get to create your own mix. This involves hand stirring about 3 months’ supply of bran, molasses, water and the magic ingredient ‘EM’ together in a large tub (in the right order!) and then packing it in an airtight bucket. For over 10 years, Jaki Bokashi has hosted educational workshops and demonstrations across South Australia to community groups and gardens, childcare centres, councils and eco-friendly festivals and markets. Our workshops are designed to inform, instruct and inspire others in the many benefits of using bokashi composting.
Since 2014 we have partnered with the City of Onkaparinga, holding regular workshops for Southern Adelaide residents. Funded by the Council, these workshops are free.
